Slip Cases are useful devices for holding metal or brass type in a straight horizontal line, ready for printing.
The internal measurements of a slip case are about 4 inches (100mm).Our slip cases are of high quality, manufactured from stainless steel. Each side of a slip case is stamped with the point size, thus making identification easier in a busy environment.
Each slip case has a screw to tighten at either end to ensure that all your letters are securely held in place.
Image 2 above shows how we use slip cases as well as quads and spacers to hold type into place.
