NOTE! Printing onto pencils represents a learning curve due to the fact that the letters are small (10pt), small print area on pencil, printing onto wood and aligining products correctly due to a small surface area. Pencils can also vary in quality and you must allow a certain percent as rejects and they must be built into your costings.

Practice on cheap pencils first (available from pound shops) as each pencils gives you 12 attempts (6 on each end of pencil)

Whilst pencils can be printed with the cheaper metal letters contained in the package, we would recomend upgrading to more sharper and durable brass letters, shown as options just below the contents of this kit.

To get a good quality print, you must apply consistent downward pressure. The machine height must be adjusted correctly so that your letters are making a perfect contact when being pressed into the pencil. PRACTICE - PRACTICE - PRACTICE!

With EZ lift you can adjust the height of the machine in an instant! Using the dial to promptly lift or lower the height of the machine to accommodate products of varying thickness. It makes printing 'EZ'

Having products of differing size means you need to adjust your machine to get the right result, so the less time needed for set-up, the more work can be fulfilled.

With an impressive 4"x3" print area, it’s possible to print up to 10 lines of type (depending on point size) or a die as large as 4"x3".
 

You will be able carry out many types of printing. Personalising Leather goods such as wallets, luggage tags, bags and purses. You could also try other products, such as printing onto Coasters, Bookmarks, Business Cards etc. too!

 

Printing onto pencils is easy but it also depends on the quality of pencils and how smooth they are. Although you can print pencils with metal type, in the longer run, we would recommend using brass type for greater longevity and extra sharpness. This means you can Print anything between 8cm and 16cm away from the rear of the machine.

Pressure Screws: Allows you to adjust the tilt of the heat platen with minimal effort and ensures you can align your type or die block for even print results.

Temperature controller: 600W digital controller with thermostat regulator. All our machines are CE approved and available in either 110v or 220v, so can be used Worldwide.

Printing onto pencils is easy but it also depends on the quality of pencils and how smooth they are. Please ensure the pencils have a hexagonal barrel so there is a flat surface on which to print.

    Brass Type/Letters
    This kit contains Brass type in 10pt size. Brass Type is deeper etched and this may help to prevent mistakes or misprints.
    
    Although you can print pencils with metal type, in the longer run, we would recommend using brass type for greater longevity and extra sharpness.
    
    The Foilcraft EZ Pro can also print Initials onto items such as Phone Cases, Tablet Cases, Wallets, etc. (optional larger type and accessorires may be required for printing initials).
