Als u make-up en haarborstels of cosmetica groothandel bent, wilt u uw klanten misschien een personalisatieservice aanbieden met hun eigen branding!

In tegenstelling tot foliedruk , een droog en direct drukproces voor het bedrukken van eenmalige exemplaren, wordt bij het tampondrukproces daarentegen inkt gebruikt, waardoor dit proces ongeschikt is voor het bedrukken van eenmalige exemplaren.

Het tampondrukproces heeft één groot voordeel ten opzichte van foliedruk: u kunt gemakkelijk op ronde of gebogen oppervlakken afdrukken. Bij foliedruk moet het product vlak en buigzaam zijn, bij tampondruk kan het echter rond, gebogen, bol, hol en zelfs plat zijn!

In principe is de pad gemaakt van zachte siliconen en terwijl deze in de gegraveerde plaat (die de inkt bevat) wordt gedrukt, pakt de pad je ontwerp op en stempelt het handmatig op je product.

Bij tampondruk moet je een drukplaat maken
(wat u in huis kunt doen met onze kleine plaatmaker). U kunt elk lettertype en elk basislogo gebruiken. Drukinkten zijn alleen verkrijgbaar in matte afwerking en niet in metallic (zoals bij foliedruk). Dat gezegd hebbende, er zijn 'metallic' goud- en zilverinkten beschikbaar, maar deze hebben niet de hoge glans die foliedrukfolies wel hebben.

Met tampondruk kunt u inktkleuren  mengen om uw eigen geschatte tint te creëren.

Tampondruk vereist meer vaardigheden dan foliedruk , maar als het eenmaal onder de knie is, is het een vrij eenvoudig proces.

​

De tampondrukmachine is handbediend en verbruikt geen stroom. De platenmaker moet echter wel op een voeding worden aangesloten. Borden worden gemaakt van jouw zwart-wit artwork en er zijn er ongeveer 20 nodig om ze zelf te maken.

    About Pad Printing
     

    The pad printing process was initially developed in Switzerland to print onto watch faces. However, as technology as moved on, it is now also possible to pad print onto 100's of products of various shapes and sizes.

    With pad printing, the surface to be printed onto can be flat, irregular shaped, concave or convex. This makes the pad printing process extremely desirable when compared to other forms of printing.

     

    A basic  pad printing set up will normally consist of:-

     

    a) A pad printing machine
    b) A plate/cliche maker
    c) Blank water washable plates/cliches

    c) Different shaped pads

    d) Screen tint and artwork paper

    e) Inks and retarder
    f) Inks
    plus a few other minor accessories.

    We can supply you with a complete ready-to-start kit along with full instruction as well as a training DVD (Training video also available as a download if you do not have a CD player)
